 Our mission is to provide aid and opportunities for aspiring athletes, teams, organizations, or other regulating bodies associated with baseball in our community, regardless of their socioeconomic status.

Competing in amateur athletics has an endless impact on adolescent lives. Youth sports are critical for kids to develop character and essential life skills, such as teamwork, self-confidence, and perseverance. Research shows that active kids do better in life, and sports have historically afforded all kids the opportunity to live an active and healthy lifestyle.

Youth sports are more expensive than ever. League fees, equipment, apparel, and transportation expenses can all add up to a substantial amount that prevents many families from enrolling their kids in sports programs. Extenuating circumstances outside of the control of a young person’s life should not be what holds one back from the chance to earn an opportunity.

There are multiple avenues in which we can bridge the gap to create more equity in amateur athletics. That’s where you come in. FHBF is determined to provide sports opportunities to as many kids as possible.  No donation is too small or too large.
